• No festivals for 13 days after death.
• Do not visit temples located on hills or mountains.
• Do not put money in the hundi.
• Do not visit the Kuladeivam temple for 1 year.
• Do not give money for naivedyam in the temple.

Allowed:

• You may visit regular temples.
• You may give dakshina to the priest (vadyaar).
• Archana can be done only in the name of the deity, not in our personal name.
• Can celebrate festivals after those initial 13 days
